I downloaded another copy of MOJAVE “it didn't work” I routed the internet on my cell phone “it didn't work” I reset my VIVO router “it didn't work” I installed MOJAVE on an External HD “it didn't work” I formatted the machine and put MOJAVE from scratch without any non native app “it didn't work” I did a reset on the App Store application “it didn't work” I did a reset on the App Store user “it didn't work” I've tried everything below and nothing resolved: My problem is in the App Store application where to download a new application or make an update the download icon is spinning for a long time and nothing happens. I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) with 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 running MOJAVE When I reboot, I specifically close down the apps I have open, and the "reopen windows when logging in" checkbox is unticked, but the apps reopen anyway.Įverything was fine on 12.2.x, so I'm completely mystified as to what's happened all of a sudden - the only thing that's changed is the OS update.Īny help will be gratefully received, as a rebuild would be an absolute nightmare, and this is driving me mad.Īpp Store does not download on OsX Mojave OK folks I fill out the registration details, things work ok for a time, but then if I close the app, or reboot, I'm back to square one. OneDrive and the other MS Office apps also seem to forget that they're registered. Apple apps, such as App Store, Music, Podcasts, Safari, et al, are also behaving as if it's their first run - with the intro screens, etc. I have a weird problem, whereby apps aren't storing (or can no longer find) their settings and registration details since updating to MacOS Monterey 12.3.Īffected apps (so far) include Rapidweaver and Macupdater, which go through their initial setups every time they're reloaded.
